DELL M1330 WINDOWS 7 SOUND DRIVER DOWNLOAD

It is working on my XPS M I was doing a 2 month placement in Edison and was meant to fly back there right now but got declined re-entry by US customs. I do a lot of support on the Dell users forum mainly desktops and the biggest problem we see with sound not working on an install is that users have skipped the chipset drivers. I ahve downloaded it twice and saved it to the desktop but same error occurs. Geoff I think you have got the wrong XPS 13 model here.

Did you install the driver directly or did you need to take the additional steps mentioned in the thread?

From the dell site i downloaded the vista audio driver, from there i right clicked on setup. I did a clean install of win7home followed by a upgrade install with the remove all option for Win10home. Windows OS Windows 7 and 8. Reboot the PC and when it comes up with new hardware found it may just tell you drivers were not loaded, just go to the Device Manager and you will see the? I did that this week, two days ago, before the expiration of Insider version. I never made the registry edit… You can open the registry file up in notepad and then manually delete the entries in the registry editor…. Windows 7 doesnt seem to detect the webcam dnt knw why. I have an Intel card driver Although there is soujd chipset drivers listed for the Win 7 32bit drivers on the Dell downloads there is in the Vista driver downloads.
